Business Operations Manager Singapore

Singapore, Singapour

About Portcities

We are a leading global Odoo implementation partner with operations across 8 countries and $10M in revenue. We are growing fast, acquiring other partners, and scaling our operations. We need someone to make sure our internal engine runs perfectly.

The Role

You will work directly with the CEO to fix operational bottlenecks, manage post-merger integrations, and improve how we use data. You will not write 50-page strategy slides. You will design a process, build it in our internal systems, and make sure the team uses it.

Job Description

  • BI & reporting: manage our internal reporting (Metabase) to deliver insights and analysis to our shareholder, the executive team, and local management teams.
  • Performance management: analyze financial and non-financial KPIs to identify potential performance improvement opportunities and follow up with designed teams to execute.
  • Process Improvement: Identify slow, manual processes across our 8 branches and automate them using Odoo.
  • Post-merger Integration: Lead the operational and IT integration of newly acquired companies into the Portcities ecosystem.
  • Internal project management: Run critical internal projects from start to finish. Hold regional directors accountable for deadlines.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in finance, internal audit, IT project management, consulting, or business operations management.
  • Strong logical thinking. You understand how ERP systems, databases, and business processes connect.
  • Pragmatic and hands-on. You are not afraid to dig into the data and do the dirty work to fix a problem.
  • Strong backbone. You can enforce rules and push back on senior regional directors when they do not follow standard processes.
  • Excellent English communication. You can explain a complex system change in three simple sentences.

What We Offer: A Package Based on Shared Success

We offer a competitive package that directly rewards your contribution to our growth and profitability.

  • Base Salary: SGD 5,500 to SGD 6,900 gross per month
  • Opportunity to work within an inclusive, international, and multicultural team
  • Ongoing training and professional development programs
  • Clear opportunities for professional growth and career advancement
  • Hybrid work model, combining office-based and home-office work
  • A professional, collaborative, and supportive working environment

The Opportunity: Build the Future of Portcities Singapore

We serve over 494 active clients globally, including major corporations like Mitsubishi, Veolia, and Grab. Our ambition is to become a top 1% Odoo partner worldwide.

We are looking for a driven and hands-on Business Operations Manager to strengthen and scale our Singapore branch. Following a period of rapid global expansion, our strategic focus is now on building strong operational foundations to support sustainable and profitable growth. Singapore is a key high-potential market where we are investing in operational excellence to accelerate this next phase.

This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping and optimizing a key business unit, backed by a global organization. This is not a routine operational role; it is a builder’s opportunity to drive impact, improve processes, solve complex challenges, and contribute directly to the success story of Portcities Singapore.
