As part of our continued growth in Japan, we are strengthening our delivery capabilities to support an expanding client base and increasingly complex projects. Our current team in Japan is composed of 8 people, including Sales Representatives, ERP Consultants, and Administrative Support members.

This is a key role at the heart of our operations. As Delivery Manager, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high client satisfaction, while developing our consulting team and improving delivery standards. This is not a back-office role — you will be close to clients, consultants, and real project challenges every day.

Job Description

As Delivery Manager, you are responsible for end-to-end project delivery and for the performance of the consulting team in Japan. You act as the bridge between sales, consultants, and clients.
Your core objectives will be:

  •  Project & Delivery Management
    • Own the successful delivery of multiple Odoo ERP projects from kick-off to go-live and post-go-live stabilization
    • Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope, timeline, and budget
    • Proactively manage risks, issues, and change requests
    • Act as an escalation point for complex delivery or client situations
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Manage, coach, and support ERP Consultants and project team members
    • Plan resource allocation across projects (staffing, workload, priorities)
    • Monitor individual performance, utilization, and billing rates
    • Support onboarding, training, and skills development of consultants

    Client Relationship Management

    • Be a trusted delivery partner for clients during implementation phases
    • Manage client expectations and ensure high satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
    • Participate in key workshops, steering committees, and project governance meetings
    • Contribute to long-term client retention and upsell opportunities through delivery quality

    Operational & Financial Control (Delivery Scope)

    • Track project margins, costs, and billable utilization
    • Ensure accurate project planning, time tracking, and invoicing readiness
    • Work closely with Sales and Management to improve delivery profitability and predictability

Requirements

  • Bilingual English – Japanese: Full professional proficiency required (minimum Japanese level N1 and English fluency). You will manage projects and client relationships primarily in Japanese.
  • Strong Delivery Background: Experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Consultant in an IT consulting or ERP environment.
  • Hands-On & Structured: Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
  • People-Oriented Leader: Experience managing and developing consultants, with a collaborative and coaching mindset.
  • Client-Focused Problem Solver: Able to navigate complex client situations, manage expectations, and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Performance-Driven: Strong awareness of project margins, utilization, and delivery KPIs.

We are looking for a strong, hands-on Delivery Manager to play a critical role in strengthening and scaling our operations in Japan. After a period of rapid global expansion, our strategic focus is now on building solid delivery foundations that enable sustainable and profitable growth. Japan is a high-potential market, and delivery excellence is central to our next phase of success.

Our current Japan team consists of 8 members across Sales, ERP Consulting, and Administrative Support. As Delivery Manager, you will work closely with this team to ensure high-quality project execution, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement in delivery processes.

This is a builder’s role, not a maintenance position. You will be expected to take ownership of delivery performance, solve complex operational challenges, mentor consultants, and act as a key bridge between clients, local teams, and the global organization.
