Portcities is seeking a dynamic Junior Consultant to join our Tokyo team. This role involves assisting in the analysis, design, and implementation of Odoo ERP solutions that address our clients' business needs. You will work closely with senior consultants to provide technical and functional expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Description

  • Analysis & Design: Analyze client business processes to design software solutions with detailed requirements.
  • Documentation: Produce Functional Specifications, UAT plans, and prepare case tests and flowcharts.
  • Implementation: Accompany customers through the full delivery cycle from configuration to Go-live.
  • Testing: Conduct internal testing on configurations and developments before releasing them for client UAT.
  • Training: Create user manuals and provide support/training to end-users.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team during pre-sales by creating and presenting software demos.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or Accounting.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience; passion for ERP and software solutions is essential.
  • Language Requirements: Native or bilingual Japanese proficiency (mandatory for Japanese client engagement) with intermediate to business-level proficiency in English for written and verbal communication.
  • Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must have valid work authorization in Japan to be considered for this position.

We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Consultant to join our growing team in Japan. This role is ideal for individuals at the early stage of their consulting career who are eager to learn, develop their ERP and business consulting skills, and contribute to client projects in a dynamic international environment.

As part of our Japan team—working alongside experienced Sales Representatives, ERP Consultants, and Administrative Support—you will support project delivery, assist in analyzing client requirements, and help implement effective Odoo solutions.
